What we've seen is that a good chunk of the problem is getting reliable, accurate data. Most of what's available is not designed or intended for accounting / financial reporting. Once a client is off the beaten path at all, gathering the data becomes much more difficult and that complicates the accounting work.

This is true! Hopefully @noves will be able to solve this. I have also seen cases where data is clean, readily available and can be transformed into an accounting-friendly dataset in a few lines of code. Yet some companies out there donโ€™t do a good job with this type of data either

In the latter case maybe accounting isn't for them. ;)

These are firms that pride themselves with being one of the best crypto accounting products out there. Yet there are so busy chasing new clients that they forget about serving existing users (even if all it takes is a couple lines of code) ๐Ÿšฉ Thatโ€™s why every founder should do DD on accounting solutions out there.
