Tips get burned after 3 days??

Tips don’t get burned; they just stop rolling over after three days. So, if you don’t use them within that time, they won’t carry over any further.

No rollover after 3 days, understood.

But what happens to the unused tips after those 3 days?

For example, if I have a 1k allowance per day, by the 5th day, I’d still have an accumulated allowance of 3k. 
What happens to the 2k allowance I would have if I had continued to tip?
