Something I don't expound on much is that for nearly a decade I ran a pretty known group. By virtue of maintaining that groups integrity and usefulness it meant being an admin with an iron fist. As a byproduct or that administration yours truly removed many well known CT accounts routinely.

Well a number of those past members who didn't upkeep basics of activity or contribution went on to amass large followings and make waves within the space larger than I. And slowly but surely I have been given the cold shoulder by these peers, classmates, colleagues.

I have absolutely no regrets. I didn't believe in grandfathering. Didn't believe in favoritism. I routinely chose sub 1k follower count hard working peers over social media managers who couldn't work in a team setting Is what it is

Retired from this mantle of operations about two years ago. I do miss the heavy handedness of facilitating necessary change but everyone can be themselves in whatever disorganized states they wish. I am simply a bystander now, not ring leader or any circus.
