At an ecosystem level, what metrics would you expect hackathons to collect? Some fft top of mind things for me (don’t even know how easy this is to track): - $ invested in hackathon projects - # jobs created - # companies started - ETH burned - people connected Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts too

I check every submission with their Github history + some code search Usually it becomes obvious in a minute

Fair, thanks! There should be a way to automate partially at least. Last year alone we’ve had probably 3000+ project submissions.

My framework is - eliminate below average ones quickly (generally ~50%) - check each demo website to see if there's a mismatch of texts or too much work, around 10% gets the initial flag of being recycled - check the rest and give points (hard part) - check the suspicious ones carefully - double check the winners
