The RIAA coordinating a lawsuit against AI music generators Suno & Udio on behalf of Sony, Warner & UMG leaves so many questions. What type of content is AI companies training their program? Is there any way for transparency with AI? Seems like a very Open AI/Adobe move 🧐

I like this take on it even though I disagree https://nealstephenson.substack.com/p/the-first-use-of-any-new-technology It ignores the noble goal of ai to liberate us from tedium so each of us can just have fun doing what we enjoy. It clings to the Calvinist notion that we must sacrifice to find good things

Amazing article! Yes, I think training AI models is great, we just need better communication and honesty from some companies, if not the public will have distrust in the technology.
