Happy Water Wednesday! This is the Krossá river in southern Iceland, fed by the Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. It is fast, unpredictable, and icy cold. There are very few bridges, so if you're hiking through here, you have to roll up your pants and step through it. The current gets very strong if it's higher than your knees.

i LOVE this @nuflark! was there in Sept 2018 - absolutely blew my mind! its like another planet. only a couple pix on my new 'puter for now, but yea... most beautiful place i've ever seen... and i've been around. 👨🦳
