Anyone else following the Rollei 35AF project by Mint? 

The Rollei 35 is *such* a cute little pocket camera, but I sold mine years ago because of its atrocious focus. The pop-out lens meant inconsistencies from the lens to the film. It looks like this would solve that issue for sure, and it's just as cute!

Ohh, definitely! The TLR-inspired instax cameras made by Mint are interesting, but I tend to agree, I would love to be able to buy a brand new point-and-shoot 35mm.

I have a 35SE, smart design, a lovely toy for fidgeting, but ergonomically it's prolly the worst camera i've ever owned. The AF is a cool move but heck, i'd rather they make a modernised Olympus XA or something more practical instead!

It looks really cool, but pretty pricey at $950 usd. You could get a Ricoh GR film camera for half that. My fav this past year has been the Nikon L35AF2 One Touch, great lens.

Yes. Have been following all the developments of the new analog cameras like this one and the Pentax 17. The photos I’ve seen so far that come out of this little thing look pretty impressive. But for professional usage it is not going to be the right choice I think. Are you going to buy it?
