The FBI is currently investigating the failed assassination attempt on Trump in Florida 
The FBI said that it is investigating a failed assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. 
Trump is now safe after shots were fired at Trump International Golf Club. 
One man was arrested in connection with the incident, officials said. The person arrested is Ryan Wesley Routh. 
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were both “relieved to know” that Trump was safe and had been briefed on the situation.
