kinda bullish that bybit just had the worst hack in digital history & was processing withdrawals as if nothing happened 12hrs later we’ve come a long ways since FTX even if it doesn’t feel like it. crypto sometimes sucks, but it’s resilience keeps me optimistic despite the shit

In many ways, I think the current crisis is the most difficult one crypto has faced. With FTX and Terra Luna, we knew exactly where the rot was. Cutting the rot was painful, but as they were both operating as companies, it was easy to identify and relatively contained.

people dont want more tokens, they want products that actually work. but most projects now tokenize from day 1, and teams are rewarded before delivering any real outcomes. bet on teams w/ a high ability to delay gratification. they'll win long term.

negative news has not been the cause of sell offs lately, but the lack of positive news this tells me ppl are fearful w/ low conviction rn, which imo is much better than “up-only” consensus (bc the consensus is rarely right) I rather take contrarian risk vs consensus risk
