I’m not against fishing at all. I admire all around watermen and women who spend time and understand and respect the ocean and the ways that it ebbs and flows. I think spear fishing is great, and I think fishing with your friends as an activity is great. I actually don’t even think industrial fishing is bad in and of itself. nnIt’s just more, sad. I don’t think it’s going to get better any time soon, and in some ways I do think it will improve, but to me the use of the ocean is like tourism. People think it’s someone else’s problem, when in fact it is all our problem. A true tragedy of the commons
