My design philosophy for /obsidian — it should be intuitive for beginners but have infinite depth for advanced users. Like going to the beach. You start in the shallow waters, and can stay there as long as you like, or keep swimming out into the ocean.

Many people who are new to Obsidian have the feeling of being dropped into the ocean, so that's something we'll be working on in the near term.

Plugins: Tasks and Excalidraw ☺️ Also when I type ‘/‘ I would like to see the command pallet open by default

I would also simplify UI more, my normie friends find it still too difficult to get started
