⌐◨-◨ Look at what we accomplished together as a community! The latest mission in two small towns in the Dominican Republic has just been completed! In addition to renovating the local church in the village of Lecheria, we distributed school supplies in the village of El Batey De Palave!
Together we gave out 350 backpacks to help these kids get started in the new school year, with each one containing 5 notebooks, 5 pencils, 1 sharpener, 2 erasers, 1 small box of crayons, & 1 ruler. 3 lots of children's clothing were sent out to the church for distribution, and we fed 400 children & adults with fried chicken, plantains, chips and drinks! It was a small step towards building a better future for these kids.
We were able to spread joy, distribute food and school supplies to children, all with the power of nounish values! Watch til the end to see some kids trying on the @preciousnoggles we brought for them! Thank you to @adrienne @nounishprof for the purple nogs we got at FarCon! They are now in the DR too! 2 replies
