can ens not work across the super chain or whatever

The tech of why is beyond me but for example when you send tokens or look on basescan you can’t use the ens — have to use the wallet addy. Don’t know how many times I’ve had to look up the wallet address on etherscan & copy paste. 

Maybe @wbnns could explain more on the technical side as to why ens doesn’t work on base.
