This is a good and funny meme that points out the absurdity of NYE celebrations, but also we should be working harder to put that energy into more milestones 

I’d be psyched if the following cases were equally memeable:

- my hemisphere successfully completed another harvest
- we made it to midsummer 
- the earth is waking up again and everything is procreating 
- a person I love came of age 
- a person I love got laid for the first time 
- a couple I admire crossed n decades of marriage 
- a respected community member died (the Irish had it right, wakes should be ragers)
- a person I love got a job
- the drought broke 
- the sun finally came out 
- ten bags of groceries just came home 

We should be celebrating how great things are with silly, giddy urgency way more and worrying about the teflon in our dental floss way less

Funerals should be ragers and celebrations of human lives change my mind

I have told my family on multiple occasions that if they don’t play “Let’s Go Crazy” by Prince at the end of my funeral, they get nothing.  Ideally — the playing of the song should release my seed phrase or something lol
