Any Casters actively involved in DAO governance, I’d value your $.02 on this passage from “Why Nations Fail.” How do you see rules upheld in a decentralized system?

Disagree with this passage —very scarcity mindset. However what I do see happen is that if there is a leadership void in a DAO, something will fill it. But decentralized leadership does work. It just takes more effort.

Can you elaborate on “decentralized leadership”? Are you referring to term limits, rotations through a core team, something else?

When I’m thinking about this in terms of nounish DAOs, if you ask a DAO who the leader is, you will not get 1 person as the answer. There are many—some for specific subgroups & projects. Others who provide thought leadership. But in a true DAO, there will be multiple leaders. With rules enforced onchain.
