Margherita Pizza Recipe Ingredients: Dough: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp instant yeast 1/2 tsp salt 3/4 cup warm water 1 tbsp olive oil Topping: 1 cup canned crushed tomatoes 200 g fresh mozzarella cheese (sliced) Fresh basil leaves Salt and pepper to taste Olive oil for drizzling Instructions: Prepare the Dough: In a bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil. Knead until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place. Preheat the Oven: Heat the oven to 250°C (482°F) or as high as it will go. Shape the Dough: Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Add Toppings: Spread crushed tomatoes over the dough, season with salt and pepper, and arrange mozzarella slices on top. Bake: Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 10-12 minutes, until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly. Finish: Remove from the oven, add fresh basil leaves, and drizzle with olive oil. Serve hot and enjoy!
