Let’s say Gary gets his way and ETH is ruled a security. What are the practical implications? Going through brokers? Stocks are securities and that doesn’t stop them from being at an ATH. And, the SEC rule would only apply to the US, the rest of the world doesn’t care

I suppose there's a worry that the anti crypto army in washington tries to say validators need to do full KYC/AML, or other draconian surveillance.
