Pain, but not the kind that's normal,
It's the one that burns within.
Pain from an opened wound
On my chest that's not yet healed.

Torments, doubts, and offenses,
Hopes, successes, and failures,
All have mixed and fused together
Like molten metal in the flames.

No enemies, no friends, just so,
Loneliness is suffocating.
I tear the shackles into pieces,
But who would even care for that?

I totally agree with you, we all have our own pain but as much as we sympathise with each other, we don't care about each other, you know?
So first of all we really have to understand and accept/embrace ourselves before we can do that towards others 🖤
