I guess my main point going forward would be: ‘Show that you’ve heard and understand the community.’ It seems that many see you as being out of touch and occupied with things that are unaligned with how they see ethereum would win. What’s your strategy for winning?

Thank you for your reply. I understand and am sympathetic to this. I can also appreciate that EF doesn’t cater to financial applications only and has a radical (and for many unclear) horizon to work towards. It would be great to have more insight into all of this, but I also don’t want the EF to spend too much resources on explaining itself. Perhaps some follow up questions are: 1. to what extent do you agree with the CT criticism that Ethereum needs to move faster? 2. Have more technical oriented leadership? 3. Deliver more on the needs of the stakeholders within the current ecosystem? 4. Where have you dropped the ball? 5. When and how are you going to pick up that ball? I know it’s a lot of questions, but hey, you said AMA right? 😬😉

I saw this and posted: https://x.com/flovanlieshout/status/1880685706861040008?s=46 Next thing I got blocked by Aya. Now I can understand my comment feels harsh, but I only have 140 characters, so there’s that. Getting blocked after trying to criticize, feels like leadership doesn’t have thick enough skin and might discard criticism too easily. If anything, I’d like to see how and to what extent we, the community, are being heard and our feedback is being discussed, valued and included in the formation of the new leadership and EF mission approach.

Ok, perhaps I should’ve posted a more elaborate question. You read twitter of course. How does the current debate on CT shape the internal leadership debate? Do community voices have a weight in that debate and to what extent? To what extent does the call for a change in leadership, and more specific the concerns such as: pivot to more winner driven leadership style, more ecosystem requested priorities, weigh in the internal debate? My question comes from the feeling that we shout very loudly, but don’t get the feedback of being heard, being understood. As someone that’s been passionate about Ethereum starting at ‘Frontier’, this is painful and makes me anxious.
