Moose likes to play fetch more than anything. One time my daughter and I were floating the river with moose. He swam a stick back and forth so that he could play fetch while swimming, we swam over a mile ourselves, he’s pure madness

Do you give him any special treats when he retrieves the stick

Never used treats for anything with him. No reason to make him psychotically food motivated when he accepts happy pets and leaning against me as a reward (I’d use treats if necessary, just not necessary for him)

Well you won as a pet owner, I tried training my dog with treats but it didn’t work, I think I messed something up, now my dog is 5 and doesn’t even respond to sit

Consistency is what matter’s the most, and don’t forget they’re pack animals that get their guidance from their pack. If you don’t show them a boundary and enforce it then they won’t respect it

True but I feel like I already failed cause my dog is not a puppy anymore and is harder to train if I’m not mistaken
