Ya unfortunately all the data available studying the subject disproves it: The key takeway from NCBI studies on mania and work quality and "getting shit done" is this: Impaired Decision Making Manic episodes lead to impulsive decisions, overconfidence, and unrealistic assessment of capabilities, resulting in taking on too many tasks or making risky choices that jeopardize job safety and project outcomes. This often leads to unfinished projects and mistakes rather than actual productivity. Manic episodes are literally the epitome of "busy is the new stupid"... At least according to the science 🤣
