Just for fun, did another set of zurchers with a 35lb kb on the left side and a 53lb on the right side (because I’m short on plates) this is 273lbs Why? Because you need to be strong in any position your body can get into, not just the perfect positions

I’ve honestly been hesitant to try Zurchers because of how the back curves during the lift. Do you experience any significant back pain afterwards?

None, I’m 43 and my back feels solid because I train it to be. I definitely recommend these, I also definitely recommend working with someone or somewhere that has people who understand these lifts. Core strength is paramount, I couldn’t do this if my core wasn’t already overly capable of this load, I say overly because it can’t be your weak link or it will go into your spine. Start with an empty bar or even a lighter training bar. Feel where the tension is showing up, feel where exhaustion of the muscles shows up. Go light because you do not want to learn this feeling with weight

Thanks! From the video, it looks like you're lifting more than 225 lbs. I've been training for about a year and a half, but I still can’t conventional deadlift 225 lbs. How long did it take you to reach this level?
