What’s something interesting in crypto coinbase has created?

Base? Nope, just a clone of another L2 
An exchange? Obviously not interesting 
Coinbase wallet? Trash fire

I’m at a loss, what else have they done in the, checks notes, 12 years and 8 months? 

The intent of crypto tech is to escape centralization and control via authoritarian governments. The last 4 years are marked with many missteps all stemming from centralization created by crypto, including a complete lack of ability to  escape regulator control. 

12 years of navel gazing and backroom dealings while never advancing the tech. But at least they have 3,600 employees standing around talking about what they may one day never do

That’s fair I think. Working with banks is a bitch, but I certainly will not credit them with all things downstream. I’ve never needed or used their products to do anything in the space which also means their efforts weren’t singular, unique, or novel, they just gave more backroom handies than the other players

The at-scale fiat-to-crypto onramp in the US. Everything else is downstream of it.
