Anyone ever gone back and watched Mr. Robot? What an absolute pile of trash that show was, the woke mind virus was really on display in that script and what’s messing with me was how much I didn’t notice it back when it came out. Altered carbon also, although I still love the world that was imagined. Mr Robots world is far less exciting.

what??? are you serious? Mr. Robot was epic! It's like one of the smartest shows ever made! i never rewatched but it was good. if you enjoyed it before then you know it was good. you might have outgrown it. also altered carbon is a good show but can't compare to mr robot

Hahah it’s absolutely not good. The writing was mediocre, the dialog awkward, and the storyline was atrocious. All villains are hero’s in their own minds, just like Elliot. How is it an intelligent story arc to have the main character plan to go into withdrawals right as he supposed to be executing his master plan?

Elliot’s not just any hero, he's messed up and that’s what makes him a good character. Of course, he’s gonna make bad decisions he's battling his own mind. you don't feel you're being too harsh on the script writing? it's definitely not a bad show.

The whole show is based on hating people and corporations that are successful, but the only way to do that was to make them very inauthentic characters and companies. It’s insane to hate people and companies because they’re successful. Succession was full of tons of awful people and insane ideas, but the characters and the story are so well written and developed that it transcends its own madness. Mr. Robot does not do that for me

finally a point i can agree with. succession is a way better show, and it's fine if mr robot doesn't do that for you but calling it a mediocre show is shocking. yes they were hating on successful corporations, the writers could have done better but i disagree that it's a mediocre show.

I promise you, go back and watch it. The characters are very flat, the interesting directions unexplored, and the dialogue was funny because it made no sense. The entire scene where he goes through withdrawals is literally nonsense. It didn’t make sense why he put himself in that position, it didn’t make sense why anyone would have followed him in the state or why anyone would follow anyone approaching that state, let alone following him into a highly sophisticated federal crime that he…checks notes, came up with that day

i'm going to rewatch it just because your points are very convincing and i want to prove them wrong. i don't want nostalgia to be a factor, so i'll watch it again and get back. i hope i can prove you wrong haha
