Risk and skill are juxtaposed. If you do something that’s risky but the control potential through developed skill compresses that risk to an outlier, what’s the risk? I stand at the edge of a cliff, I feel fear like anyone else, the difference is my skill says I can do this and I quiet that inner voice and walk off

That’s also how I rationalize those things. I mean, if we want zero risk in life I should never leave the house. I can de risk things with skill like you say. I also want to live my life. The question is, is any amount of risk worth it if you’re potentially gambling with infinity?
