If you guessed the last letter in first word, why you didnt use it again there in second guess?

It was a very common letter, so I decided to go with 5 letters I hadn't used before due to the large number of possible answers. This strategy helps me a lot by avoiding any X's or 6's so far in PRO mode and has only resulted in a handful of 5's. The downside is that it might give you more 4's and fewer chances to score a 2. I mainly use this approach when I see a decent number of possible answers OR when there are only a few but very similar ones (JOKER, POKER, BOXER, ROVER...) BTW: the asterisk next to your score ("4/6*" for instance) tells you whether you used "easy" mode - like I described above - or "hard" mode šŸ˜‰
