Many parts of it have been destroyed and traces of it remain. Alamut fortress is located in the Alamut area of Qazvin, northeast of Gazerkhan village and at a distance of about 105 kilometers from Qazvin. The fort is 20,000 square meters, which according to Attamalek Jovini is sleeping in the shape of a camel.
