This year, I built...

As a writer, I have employed my abilities to engage a variety of audiences with Base's objective of promoting innovation and creating a worldwide onchain economy. With the launch of my blog, "Building Base Together," and the creation of impactful content, I successfully integrated new users into the ecosystem. In addition to advancing my career, working with @baseafrica and the larger community has inspired my plans for 2025. This journey has been inspired and supported by @base teams and supporters, for which I am especially grateful.

At first, my earnings were low but gradually increased, reaching 0.0368. This gave me hope and motivation. But the next day, my earnings dropped drastically to 0.0030 and kept reducing to 0.0011. Despite following the guidelines, sharing my story with pride, and even creating a short video, I feel disheartened and unsure if my work is being valued.

The reward means so much—not just as recognition, but to fund future projects and build with purpose in 2025. I humbly speak for myself and others facing similar challenges, asking for your understanding and fairness.

BM builders, this is heartbreaking. I made my post for over 2 weeks now and I found out that this is my earning. It dropped drastically from 0.0045 eth to this and I don’t think it’s fair. I’m not just the only one, a lot of us from @baseafrica got this same thing and it’s not fair. I’m very sad about this @kokocodes @sir-damilare @seneca @jessepollak

This year I built:

I was onboarded on base this year by @sir-damilare during the base onchain hackathon and I totally fell in love with the ecosystem. Through this, I was able to build contribute to the ecosystem in various ways.

Also saw that my suddenly dropped to 0.001 from 0.0045. It’s pretty sad knowing that I did a lot this past year and I feel that I’m not getting rewarded for it properly. It can be demoralizing.

A path in spotlighting products on Base. Although I just started, I’ve still been able to spotlight a few of them, and the impact has been remarkable. Through my write-ups, I’ve helped guide many newbies and developers, providing insights that simplify their journey. This is just the beginning, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.😌
