there are now 9 channels using @hypersub for recurring revenue and community engagement

in the past 2 weeks:
- 828 total paying subscribers
- 3.9 ETH total channel revenue (~$14,400)
- 1.05 ETH total subscriber earnings (~$3,900)

big things have small beginnings✨

When I subscribe for say 12 months:
- am I prepaying the entire subscription amount & hoping the creator keeps promises?
- does the creator get access to all those funds right away? 
- what’s the breakdown on fees & timing

3) 4% goes to hypersub, rest gets split based on subscriber/referral reward settings as configured by the creator

it is recurring because in order to maintain whatever perks and benefits the channel owner is providing, you have to continue putting money in the contract (minting time on the hypersub nft)

the difference compared to a web2 sub is that this isn't (yet) automated on a monthly recurring basis. will be soon tho

Is it fair to say the revenue isn’t recurring? This is the part that confuses me. 

ie it’s more like deferred revenue ie a liability to the creator
