Just picked it up actually! So nice. It’s been so hot lately that being able to turn the ac on from ur phone before u leave is worth the cost alone

Yes it’s a Y. We have only had it 3 days and it’s mainly the wife’s but loving it so far. Accelerates like crazy and drives super nice. Being able to control everything from the big screen or your phone takes some getting used to but it’s really nice. I would look into your ability to charge at home or work first. Luckily we have solar and produce more than we use so charging is free but if not then it could add up because you do drain the battery faster than you think. At least we have so far

hey awesome thanks for letting me know, i'm always curious to talk to real owners about their experiences with teslas because there's so much FUD. the charging at home (when possible) is a no brainer for me because using charging stations is not on my to list of things i would want to pay/wait for. (cost my friend over $30 to quick charge his cyber truck at a charging station. (cool fun fact he hadn't linked a card to his account yet so they still let him fill up all the way and drive home but then locked it until he paid lol)

To piggyback on what Mark said, we actually were able to pay for our charger and install through rebates so that’s another thing to look into.

We have installed a charger in our garage at two different homes, it wasn’t too complicated and super convenient. Now we work from home so just trickle charge at the home we are currently renting and it suffices with our low mileage
