I have never joined bluesky but I just downloaded Red Note / Little Red Notebook / Xiaohongshu because uhhh I am not actually sure why

i like coffee, crypto, animals, plants, drones, 3D printing, midjourney, and stickers

i don't use it a lot but every time i open it it seems better and some of the accounts i use twitter for are starting to post on bluesky. it's more usable and better than mastadon was / is (idk i still see the mastadon app on my phone but haven't checked on it in a while)

just signed up and was pleased to find several 'weird twitter' ogs posting there. That's always a good sign to me, heh. I found mastodon to be very challenging and disjointed and I don't even remember what served I used to sign up!

same it was a cool idea but maybe too niche or before its time or who knows but bluesky has much less friction, i'm just an observer for now (don't post) but seems like it has potential, im intrigued by the jay graber lady too cuz at first i thought jack was just making another twitter clone but he left and she's running things and she's been involved in some cool stuff like zcash and is pro decentralization
