my favorite part of these threads is how nobody answers the questions lol just a bunch of people asking for help and being ignored 🤓  my question (again): what's the technical reasoning behind DEGEN being wrapped when we claim it vs it just being regular DEGEN. thx

Idk the answer but I agree that people are interested in their own problems more. But that's fair. 

Degen isn't a token on degen chain because it's the native balance of a wallet. By wrapping and making a token it can be referred to as such.
A smart contact can't handle 50 somethings without knowing what to call em.
