idk why but just thought about greeks and roman's and stuff doing math without numbers cuz those came later (for them) like pythagorean theorem? idk just draw out shapes on a paper

they had "numbers" like greeks used alphabet and roman's used roman numerals but they didnt write equations and arithmetic out with them or anything and it was not great.

I’ve never really thought about that before. They must have had a totally different way of thinking compared to us who we grow up using numbers all the time. Kinda makes me want to read something about it now.
