it bothers me so much that gold has been valuable since eternity it's so weird why do people care about it. it has some uses but it's crazy that people are still like yeah that's what i want to represent my wealth. a shiny rock that does nothing. (bitcoin)

I've had similar thought before. I can understand it having value for it's industrial use and/or it's scarcity, but value due to it being shiny and yellow is certainly odd.
