Just finished my heart illustration in Nounish style! Now let’s chat about that question I asked earlier: What’s the link between high blood pressure and heart health? High blood pressure (hypertension) is often called a “silent killer” because it usually comes with no symptoms but it puts a lot of pressure on your heart. Over time, your heart has to pump harder than it should, which can lead to an enlarged heart, thickened walls, and even heart failure if it’s not managed properly. It’s like asking your heart to lift heavy weights all day eventually, it just gets worn out. That’s why it’s super important to keep an eye on your blood pressure and take care of your heart. I was working on an art project in my studio when a friend suddenly came in, feeling feverish. Without hesitation, I set up an IV with paracetamol to help them feel better turning my art space into an impromptu care station! I do this for free because helping others is something I truly believe in. In that moment, I realized that I don’t have to choose between art and healthcare. Both can coexist, side by side, always finding a way to intersect. #communityHealthcare #NurseCare

Visited a friend who had a motorcycle accident and got a deep cut on their hand. The wound was stitched with three stitches, and today, on day 2, I started cleaning it. Thankfully, it's already drying well! Now, it just needs regular care to heal completely. Hope they recover soon and get back to their daily activities! #nounshealth #nursehealth
