The last two weeks got me thinking about my own mortality a lot... Decided to go to my father's burial site now, sit 'with' him, think, and sketch a bit.

Thanks, Nomad... I felt I had to go there because after the noise faded a bit after my own hospital stay recently, I realised how close I was to the final exit... They almost missed that pulmanory embolism + the thrombosis in my leg.
I was lucky to have such a good doctor who spotted it, or else... well.
It was close.

What matters now is u are ok.

These moments of reflection give us a renewed sense of gratitude

After my father passed, I ended up on the OR table dealing with a heart procedure

Now I live everyday as my last and love those all around me with everything I can
