"Made in Abyss" is an anime that really makes you think and touches you deeply. It raises questions about the meaning of journey and the sacrifices that main characters make for it. 

Having just finished the first season, I can confidently say it's one of the most captivating anime I've watched 👀

Yeah, I like it, but Made in Abyss is 18+. There's a lot of violence. 

For a 7-year-old, I'd recommend "Ponyo"
