Applications for East African visas are sent! ✔️

The to-do list is getting shorter and my excitement is growing. Next to-dos include mandatory/recommended shots and planning a LOOSE itinerary of things to do in Rwanda. I prefer several daily options to decide in the moment. It’ll be a nice switch-up since the Ugandan part of the itinerary is set.

And because this is Farcaster and we’re all builders ❤️, I’m building on this experience by launching a travel-focused agent with @tinybot.

Vaccinations are done. ✔️

Next up: securing travel insurance. It’s easy to skip, but I feel better when I have it. Why?

Once upon a time, as a newbie traveler, I joined a travel group that catapulted me into a new realm of adventure. I went from having no one to travel with to having more trip invites than I could accept. 

One year, several members were in a tour bus accident. I will never forget how we came together donating flight miles, hotel points and money to fly family members, pay medical bills and even transport bodies home.

That experience shifted my view of travel insurance. I feel better knowing my family has an extra layer of support if something happens.

I’d rather have it and not need it than my family need it and not have it.

What a great reflection on travel insurance, I didn't get it before but after Covid I always get it. There's not much left for your great adventure 🙌🏼🙌🏼
