Hey guys 👋🏻 today I took Lil Grey to the nephrologist😸🐾 For now he’ll continue with fluid therapy to support his kidneys and will keep getting erythropoietin injections💉 three times a week since he still has mild anemia. He’ll also need to take one pill a day 💊 but this time I’ll be doing the treatment at home, following the vet’s instructions. Of course he’ll stay on the same pain drops for his fractured leg.

The vet also recommended repeating the X-ray and taking him back to the traumatologist to check how his leg is healing and see if surgery might be possible once his kidney function improves a bit.

So, there’s still a long road ahead  but luckily, his mood is great, he’s eating well, and he’s such an independent little guy 😸🙏🏻
