Some people imagine that black holes act like a giant vacuum cleaner sucking up the space around them. But this idea is not correct and they are like other heavenly bodies, except that they have a much stronger gravitational force field.
If you replace the Sun with a black hole of the same mass as the Sun, the Earth will not be pulled into it and the Earth will maintain its current orbit.
