in the GFC....the guys doing the CDO plumbing knew things were bad (and where the bodies were buried) long before anyone else.

I can't help but think crypto living thru Ponzu season has given some a little bit of edge/healthy skepticism about how quickly things can break..

But I was young and couldn't really tell you what was normal vs not normal for a workplace. Just struck me as odd at the time...
