Bob Dylan’s early songs are striking for their simplicity and honesty. Most are just Dylan’s voice and guitar. But the truly transcendent part of his music has always been the lyrics. Dylan was writing poetry to the rhythm of an acoustic guitar. Billy Strings also makes striking music with just his voice and an acoustic guitar. A prodigy of string instruments from a young age, he’s also a poet, but in a different language than Dylan. The transcendent part of his music usually comes from the guitar itself. This cover of Don’t Think Twice combines the genius of the two musicians, putting Dylan’s words with Billy’s music. Enjoy https://youtu.be/LR-T2qTLF6o?si=3aNUDKWGVPABcWI2
