Unfortunately I’m learning about a lot of these metrics a bit too late. Anyway, this metric is not good to spot cycle top but perfect one to spot the cycle bottom. Just in case we will have one more 4 year cycle (which I believe is not gonna happen again). When supply in profit touches red line, it means this is cycle bottom. As for cycle top, it can stay at top edge for extended periods of time and thus will not give a good call for cycle top/when to sell.
