as users, we’ve yapped at merkle for years to focus on strengths, many times to no avail, tho perhaps further experimentation was needed
recently, there has been a change a heart; most of what we thought would end up in the abyss has materialized
from non-dev hires, to getting louder on x, to leaning into our foundational strengths, eg. crypto, to looking into newsletters, to base leaning in, to increasing the leaderboard rewards—all of this, in a short period of time
yes, the time has come, but one last piece of the *first* puzzle remains: devs
i’d like to see gits verified & attached the same way x accts are, a new onboarding funnel for devs with dev mode auto-enabled (upon which the git verification becomes visible & new database, bounty & grant tabs appear in the side panel), a potential bountycaster acquisition & direct integration, a dedicated devrel hire to run an official eco index incl. better doc mgmt, hiring, funding & milestones, and lastly, increased visibility at major conferences 8 replies
