1. Bitcoin 

Bitcoin -> altcoin growth has been a common trend since the early days of crypto, and that isn't set to slow down this cycle. The last election incinerated institutional trust, pushing sovereign individuals worldwide to look into BTC, and then alts. 

2. Misinformation and Censorship

The closer we get to the elections, the tougher decisions Musk and Zuck will have to make with their centralized social networks. I respect these tough choices, but they'll lead to users opting out of their networks in search for alternatives. 

The month Elon bought Twitter, Mastodon had 20m downloads. The networks of today (namely Farcaster and Bluesky) offer a much better experience less users are churning from. 

3. Composability

It's hard to understate the impact of Farcaster Frames on the space as a whole. It opens endless opportunities for devs and creators to convert audiences in entirely new ways. Plus, they're fun! Tradsocial, jaded by Cambridge Analytica, will be slow to respond

Because of the composability between these protocols, each user any one of us onboard to web3 social helps the network effects of all protocols. This is our advantage over closed systems and gatekeepers.

As crypto reemerges in the public's attention, new degens will be searching for alpha and speculation, and web3 social is better positioned today to provide it than X is.
