How do I submit my app for Explore?

If you have an app that uses Sign in with Farcaster, a composer action or a frame, you can submit it for listing.

We included a variety of apps, actions and frames for launch, but we know we missed some. So don’t hesitate to submit and ping me via direct cast. We will add a bunch of submissions early next week.

when will curation and approval be decentralized?

capture of the network by bad actors, misalignment of incentives between developers and users, and eventual rent extraction and degradation of quality for end users

not dissimilar from the autofollow list

“Not a problem right now” is the way that capture becomes a problem in networks

Having watched most DAOs be captured over the last 7 years, I think it is not decentralizing / building the skill of decentralizing early enough that leads to their downfall

As the holder of power you are also inherently biased toward believing it is not a problem right now

Further, I believe that decentralization and growth could be deeply linked, rather than anticorrelated. Perhaps the current level of centralization is a cap on growth

Initial follow list was good retention and network growth.

Our philosophy is feel good decentralization that doesn’t matter now is not a priority relative to existential issues like growth.
