i've heard so many times that marketplaces are the hardest businesses to build bc you need to solve a big problem and get distribution for two customer bases: buyers and sellers

protocols like uniswap and aave may qualify as successful marketplaces, so perhaps newer apps want to be wrappers on that pmf
