Ethereum uses a blockchain, which is a distributed ledger (like a database). Information is stored in blocks, each containing encoded data from the block before it and the new information. This creates an encoded chain of information that cannot be changed.

One of the characteristics of the block chain is that the work of storing this data is possible without the existence of a central administrator and authority, and I cannot distort or destroy the stored data by destroying a central point, which is the name of this feature of the public and decentralized network.
