Spent the entire day at the Louvre, really epic museum…impossible to see everything in one day but well worth the visit. Started it off with a snack while waiting for my entry time 🥐 Feels like a /success

That was the second croissant of the day. My wife was complaining I didn’t seem too excited about museums. I can handle a few hours but then it’s a lot… Here was the first (chocolate almond 🔥) in the morning.

Thanks man. Chocolate almond is the 🐐 of croissants if done well. I’ve only had a few really good ones but this was one of them. Crazy thing is a chocolate croissant is less than $2 usd here. 🤯

Thanks man! I’ve found google maps (google reviews) is best in most foreign countries so I scout that out and find a few good spots to check out close to where I’m gonna be. Hasn’t failed me in Korea, Japan or France so far. Yelp is only for tourists 😂

Yelp is great in the US but you’re just gonna get tourists reviews abroad. Picked that up last year in Asia, gamechanger. 😂

reminds me of the time i had the worst michelin star meal in barcelona because i trusted a yelp review. they just don't translate well abroad

Ah man, that sucks…speaking of which I gotta try to reserve a Michelin Star restaurant here…I prefer more rustic bistros but might as well have some variety.

same here, i think we'd get along. it was the only michelin meal we had. everything else was local restaurants and we mostly sat outdoors. spain is such a vibe. totally missing it rn

Yeah hole in the walls with great food are my favorite. Spain sounds epic! I’m trying to get used to French dinners here where 9pm is the peak rush. Outdoor cafes all over the place.
