Italian designer Piero Fornasetti chose opera singer Lina Cavalieri for all his works, creating over 500 portraits of her on plates, chairs, bedside tables, and even tiles. Fornasetti's obsession with Lina turned him into a cult figure himself, with items featuring her face selling for high prices at auctions while he was alive.
